Why Does This Bother Atheists?

Like I said, I’ve been purusing an atheist’s blog. One of the recurring issues am seeing is why would a good, benevolent, loving God create a world such as this. I even saw one comment that arrogantly called this world “his eternal home.”

This is what happens when you look at this world through the myopic eyesight of atheism. You see this world and assume, if there is a God, this is the best He could do. What absurdity! I have not once looked upon what man has rote and thought, “Lord, how impotent you must be because of the follies of your creatures.”

I see others that see the majesty of God’s creation and extoll the values of Mother Earth. It seems to me, you cannot have it both ways.

The atheist looks at the evil man causes, blames God, and uses the “evidence” of that evil as proof God does not exist. They claim a loving God would not allow such evil. Then on their next breath they decry a God who would punish evil doers with eternal torment. Well, which do they want? A God that prevents evil or a God that punishes

The truth they refuse to accept is that God did create a perfect, sin free world. God also created beings that are not under his constant control. I think the only thing they would fond more distasteful than the idea that God created them knowing they would be sinners is the idea that God MADE them sinners. An atheist rejects God because he refuses to bow to God’s will.

Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.
